بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

[066:001]		Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyulima tuharrimu ma ahalla Allahu lakatabtaghee mardata azwajika waAllahughafoorun raheemun يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ تَبْتَغِي مَرْضَاتَ أَزْوَاجِكَ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

 ÙŠØ£ÙŠÙ‡Ø§ النبي لم تحرم ما احل الله لك تبتغي مرضاة ازواجك والله غفور رحيم
اے نبئ (مکرّم!) آپ خود کو اس چیز (یعنی شہد کے نوش کرنے) سے کیوں منع فرماتے ہیں جسے اللہ نے آپ کے لئے حلال فرما رکھا ہے۔ آپ اپنی ازواج کی (اس قدر) دل جوئی فرماتے ہیں، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے

Yousuf AliO Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[066:002]		Qad farada Allahu lakum tahillataaymanikum waAllahu mawlakum wahuwaalAAaleemu alhakeemu قَدْ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ تَحِلَّةَ أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَاللَّهُ مَوْلَاكُمْ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ

 Ù‚د فرض الله لكم تحلة ايمانكم والله مولاكم وهو العليم الحكيم
(اے مومنو!) بیشک اللہ نے تمہارے لئے تمہاری قَسموں کا (کفارہ دے کر) کھول ڈالنا مقرر فرما دیا ہے۔ اور اللہ تمہارا مددگار و کارساز ہے، اور وہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے

Yousuf AliAllah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths (in some cases): and Allah is your Protector, and He is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

[066:003]		Wa-ith asarra alnnabiyyu ilabaAAdi azwajihi hadeethan falammanabbaat bihi waathharahu Allahu AAalayhiAAarrafa baAAdahu waaAArada AAan baAAdinfalamma nabbaaha bihi qalat man anbaaka hathaqala nabbaaniya alAAaleemu alkhabeeru وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ النَّبِيُّ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِهِ حَدِيثًا فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَتْ بِهِ وَأَظْهَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَرَّفَ بَعْضَهُ وَأَعْرَضَ عَن بَعْضٍ فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَهَا بِهِ قَالَتْ مَنْ أَنبَأَكَ هَذَا قَالَ نَبَّأَنِيَ الْعَلِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ

 ÙˆØ§Ø° اسر النبي الي بعض ازواجه حديثا فلما نبات به واظهره الله عليه عرف بعضه واعرض عن بعض فلما نباها به قالت من انباك هذا قال نباني العليم الخبير
اور جب نبئ (مکرّم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی ایک زوجہ سے ایک رازدارانہ بات ارشاد فرمائی، پھر جب وہ اُس (بات) کا ذکر کر بیٹھیں اور اللہ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر اسے ظاہر فرما دیا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انہیں اس کا کچھ حصہ جِتا دیا اور کچھ حصہ (بتانے) سے چشم پوشی فرمائی، پھر جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انہیں اِس کی خبر دے دی (کہ آپ راز اِفشاء کر بیٹھی ہیں) تو وہ بولیں: آپ کو یہ کس نے بتا دیا ہے؟ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ مجھے بڑے علم والے بڑی آگاہی والے (رب) نے بتا دیا ہے

Yousuf AliWhen the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things)."

[066:004]		In tatooba ila Allahifaqad saghat quloobukuma wa-in tathaharaAAalayhi fa-inna Allaha huwa mawlahu wajibreelu wasalihualmu/mineena waalmala-ikatu baAAda thalika thaheerun إِن تَتُوبَا إِلَى اللَّهِ فَقَدْ صَغَتْ قُلُوبُكُمَا وَإِن تَظَاهَرَا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ مَوْلَاهُ وَجِبْرِيلُ وَصَالِحُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ ظَهِيرٌ

 Ø§Ù† تتوبا الي الله فقد صغت قلوبكما وان تظاهرا عليه فان الله هو مولاه وجبريل وصالح المؤمنين والملائكة بعد ذلك ظهير
اگر تم دونوں اللہ کی بارگاہ میں توبہ کرو (تو تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے) کیونکہ تم دونوں کے دل (ایک ہی بات کی طرف) جھک گئے ہیں، اگر تم دونوں نے اس بات پر ایک دوسرے کی اعانت کی (تو یہ نبی مکرّم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے لئے باعثِ رنج ہوسکتا ہے) سو بیشک اللہ ہی اُن کا دوست و مددگار ہے، اور جبریل اور صالح مومنین بھی اور اس کے بعد (سارے) فرشتے بھی (اُن کے) مددگار ہیں

Yousuf AliIf ye two turn in repentance to Him, your hearts are indeed so inclined; But if ye back up each other against him, truly Allah is his Protector, and Gabriel, and (every) righteous one among those who believe,- and furthermore, the angels - will back (him) up.

[066:005]		AAasa rabbuhu in tallaqakunnaan yubdilahu azwajan khayran minkunna muslimatinmu/minatin qanitatin ta-ibatinAAabidatin sa-ihatin thayyibatinwaabkaran عَسَى رَبُّهُ إِن طَلَّقَكُنَّ أَن يُبْدِلَهُ أَزْوَاجًا خَيْرًا مِّنكُنَّ مُسْلِمَاتٍ مُّؤْمِنَاتٍ قَانِتَاتٍ تَائِبَاتٍ عَابِدَاتٍ سَائِحَاتٍ ثَيِّبَاتٍ وَأَبْكَارًا

 Ø¹Ø³ÙŠ ربه ان طلقكن ان يبدله ازواجا خيرا منكن مسلمات مؤمنات قانتات تائبات عابدات سائحات ثيبات وابكارا
اگر وہ تمہیں طلاق دے دیں تو عجب نہیں کہ اُن کا رب انہیں تم سے بہتر ازواج بدلہ میں عطا فرما دے (جو) فرمانبردار، ایماندار، اطاعت گزار، توبہ شعار، عبادت گزار، روزہ دار، (بعض) شوہر دیدہ اور (بعض) کنواریاں ہوں گی

Yousuf AliIt may be, if he divorced you (all), that Allah will give him in exchange consorts better than you,- who submit (their wills), who believe, who are devout, who turn to Allah in repentance, who worship (in humility), who travel (for Faith) and fast,- previously married or virgins.

[066:006]		Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooqoo anfusakum waahleekum naran waqooduha alnnasuwaalhijaratu AAalayha mala-ikatunghilathun shidadun la yaAAsoonaAllaha ma amarahum wayafAAaloona mayu/maroona يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لاَّ يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ

 ÙŠØ£ÙŠÙ‡Ø§ الذين امنوا قوا انفسكم واهليكم نارا وقودها الناس والحجارة عليها ملائكة غلاظ شداد لا يعصون الله ما امرهم ويفعلون ما يؤمرون
اے ایمان والو! اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو اس آگ سے بچاؤ جس کا ایندھن انسان اور پتھر ہیں، جس پر سخت مزاج طاقتور فرشتے (مقرر) ہیں جو کسی بھی امر میں جس کا وہ انہیں حکم دیتا ہے اﷲ کی نافرمانی نہیں کرتے اور وہی کام انجام دیتے ہیں جس کا انہیں حکم دیا جاتا ہے

Yousuf AliO ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.

[066:007]		Ya ayyuha allatheenakafaroo la taAAtathiroo alyawma innamatujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا الْيَوْمَ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

 ÙŠØ£ÙŠÙ‡Ø§ الذين كفروا لا تعتذروا اليوم انما تجزون ما كنتم تعملون
اے کافرو! آج کے دن کوئی عذر پیش نہ کرو، بس تمہیں اسی کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا جو کرتے رہے تھے

Yousuf Ali(They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did!"

[066:008]		Ya ayyuha allatheena amanootooboo ila Allahi tawbatan nasoohanAAasa rabbukum an yukaffira AAankum sayyi-atikumwayudkhilakum jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu yawma la yukhzee Allahu alnnabiyyawaallatheena amanoo maAAahu nooruhum yasAAabayna aydeehim wabi-aymanihim yaqooloona rabbanaatmim lana noorana waighfir lanainnaka AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا عَسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِي اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ نُورُهُمْ يَسْعَى بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

 ÙŠØ£ÙŠÙ‡Ø§ الذين امنوا توبوا الي الله توبة نصوحا عسي ربكم ان يكفر عنكم سيئاتكم ويدخلكم جنات تجري من تحتها الانهار يوم لا يخزي الله النبي والذين امنوا معه نورهم يسعي بين ايديهم وبايمانهم يقولون ربنا اتمم لنا نورنا واغفر لنا انك علي كل شئ قدير
اے ایمان والو! تم اللہ کے حضور رجوعِ کامل سے خالص توبہ کر لو، یقین ہے کہ تمہارا رب تم سے تمہاری خطائیں دفع فرما دے گا اور تمہیں بہشتوں میں داخل فرمائے گا جن کے نیچے سے نہریں رواں ہیں جس دن اللہ (اپنے) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اور اُن اہلِ ایمان کو جو اُن کی (ظاہری یا باطنی) معیّت میں ہیں رسوا نہیں کرے گا، اُن کا نور اُن کے آگے اور اُن کے دائیں طرف (روشنی دیتا ہوا) تیزی سے چل رہا ہوگا، وہ عرض کرتے ہوں گے: اے ہمارے رب! ہمارا نور ہمارے لئے مکمل فرما دے اور ہماری مغفرت فرما دے، بیشک تو ہر چیز پر بڑا قادر ہے

Yousuf AliO ye who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,- the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say, "Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things."

[066:009]		Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu jahidialkuffara waalmunafiqeena waoghluth يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
Tahir ul Qadri

 ÙŠØ£ÙŠÙ‡Ø§ النبي جاهد الكفار والمنافقين واغلظ عليهم وماواهم جهنم وبئس المصير
اے نبئ (مکرّم!) آپ کافروں اور منافقوں سے جہاد کیجئے اور اُن پر سختی فرمائیے، اور ان کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے، اور وہ کیا ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے

Yousuf AliO Prophet! Strive hard against the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed).

[066:010]		Daraba Allahu mathalan lillatheenakafaroo imraata noohin waimraata lootin kanatatahta AAabdayni min AAibadina salihaynifakhanatahuma falam yughniya AAanhumamina Allahi shay-an waqeela odkhula alnnaramaAAa alddakhileena ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا امْرَأَتَ نُوحٍ وَامْرَأَتَ لُوطٍ كَانَتَا تَحْتَ عَبْدَيْنِ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا صَالِحَيْنِ فَخَانَتَاهُمَا فَلَمْ يُغْنِيَا عَنْهُمَا مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَقِيلَ ادْخُلَا النَّارَ مَعَ الدَّاخِلِينَ

 Ø¶Ø±Ø¨ الله مثلا للذين كفروا امراة نوح وامراة لوط كانتا تحت عبدين من عبادنا صالحين فخانتاهما فلم يغنيا عنهما من الله شيئا وقيلا ادخلا النار مع الداخلين
اللہ نے اُن لوگوں کے لئے جنہوں نے کفر کیا ہے نوح (علیہ السلام) کی عورت اور لوط (علیہ السلام) کی عورت (واہلہ اور واعلہ) کی مثال بیان فرمائی ہے، وہ دونوں ہمارے بندوں میں سے دو صالح بندوں کے نکاح میں تھیں، سو دونوں نے اُن سے خیانت کی پس وہ اللہ (کے عذاب) کے سامنے اُن کے کچھ کام نہ آئے اور اُن سے کہہ دیا گیا کہ تم دونوں (عورتیں) داخل ہونے والوں کے ساتھ دوزخ میں داخل ہو جاؤ

Yousuf AliAllah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!"

[066:011]		Wadaraba Allahu mathalan lillatheenaamanoo imraata firAAawna ith qalat rabbiibni lee AAindaka baytan fee aljannati wanajjinee min firAAawnawaAAamalihi wanajjinee mina alqawmi alththalimeena وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا امْرَأَتَ فِرْعَوْنَ إِذْ قَالَتْ رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِي مِن فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَمَلِهِ وَنَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

 ÙˆØ¶Ø±Ø¨ الله مثلا للذين امنوا امراة فرعون اذ قالت رب ابن لي عندك بيتا في الجنة ونجني من فرعون وعمله ونجني من القوم الظالمين
اور اللہ نے اُن لوگوں کے لئے جو ایمان لائے ہیں زوجۂ فرعون (آسیہ بنت مزاحم) کی مثال بیان فرمائی ہے، جب اس نے عرض کیا: اے میرے رب! تو میرے لئے بہشت میں اپنے پاس ایک گھر بنا دے اور مجھ کو فرعون اور اُس کے عملِ (بد) سے نجات دے دے اور مجھے ظالم قوم سے (بھی) بچا لے

اور (دوسری مثال) عمران کی بیٹی مریم کی (بیان فرمائی ہے) جس نے اپنی عصمت و عفّت کی خوب حفاظت کی تو ہم نے (اس کے) گریبان میں اپنی روح پھونک دی اور اس نے اپنے رب کے فرامین اور اس کی (نازل کردہ) کتابوں کی تصدیق کی اور وہ اطاعت گزاروں میں سے تھی
